The Impact You’ll Make 

Our Identity & Access Management oversees and leads the Security Access Management (SAM) team to ensure effective access control management, identity governance, and compliance with security policies. This role requires a strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM) principles, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements to safeguard enterprise systems and data.

The Opportunity

This role requires a strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM) principles, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements to safeguard enterprise systems and data.

What You’ll Own & Drive:

Leadership & Strategy 

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of security access management professionals. 
  • Define and implement identity and access management strategies aligned with business objectives. 
  • Build and develop an access management team or practice from the ground up, including defining roles, responsibilities, and best practices. 
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure seamless access management processes. 

Access Control & Identity Governance 

  • Oversee user provisioning, de-provisioning, and role-based access control (RBAC) processes. 
  • Ensure compliance with access management policies, least privilege principles, and segregation of duties. 
  • Manage privileged access management (PAM) solutions and monitor privileged accounts. 

Security Compliance & Risk Management 

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., SOC2, HIPAA, GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST) related to access management. 
  • Conduct regular access reviews, audits, and certifications to mitigate security risks. 
  • Address security vulnerabilities and enforce IAM best practices. 

Technology & Process Improvement 

  • Lead the evaluation, implementation, and enhancement of IAM technologies. 
  • Automate identity lifecycle management to improve efficiency and security. 
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and IAM innovations. 

Incident Response & Monitoring 

  • Collaborate with security operations teams to investigate and remediate access-related incidents. 
  • Implement and maintain monitoring solutions for unauthorized access attempts. 
  • Develop and enforce escalation procedures for access security incidents. 

The Qualities That Set You Apart:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC) are preferred. 
  • 5+ years of experience in identity and access management, information security, or a related field, with at least 2 years in leadership. 
  • Proven experience building an access management team or practice, including developing frameworks, policies, and operational processes. 
  • Strong knowledge of IAM frameworks and technologies (e.g., Okta, SailPoint, CyberArk, Microsoft Active Directory, Azure AD, LDAP, SSO, MFA, PAM). 
  • Experience with security tools, audit processes, and IAM automation. 
  • Understanding of cloud security and access control best practices. 
  • Experience in AWS is a must, including AWS IAM, AWS Organizations, and security best practices for cloud environments. 
  • Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills. 
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive security initiatives. 
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on risk management and compliance.
