Why Join Us

Join a team of curious, collaborative professionals dedicated to innovation, growth, and protecting people around the world from cybercrime and fraud.

Position: Threat Analyst – Partners

Location: Remote (United States)

Team: Threat Analytics, Partners

We are seeking a Threat Analyst with experience in fraud, risk, analytics, or cybersecurity to help our customers and partners unlock the full value of BioCatch’s behavioral biometrics solutions. This is a unique opportunity for someone already working in the industry to deepen their expertise, expand their influence through partner collaboration, and play a key role in shaping how fraud prevention is delivered to mid-market financial institutions.

This role is customer-facing and ideal for someone who enjoys working with people as much as with data. You’ll play a key role in supporting our expansion into mid-market (tier 3) banking organizations through our partner network.

You’ll work autonomously (with plenty of support) in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that values creativity, learning, and initiative. This is a role where your curiosity and drive will have a real, measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities

Partner & Customer Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with internal BioCatch teams and external partners.
  • Deliver engaging training sessions and presentations to partner customers.
  • Support technical implementation and onboarding for new partner organizations.

Threat Analysis & Reporting

  • Develop scalable, standardized analytical reports to surface meaningful insights.
  • Assist with tactical responses to live fraud events and emerging threats.
  • Continuously grow your expertise in digital fraud prevention and behavioral analytics.

Requirements

Technical Skills

  • Education or training in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Programming — or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ Years of experience as a Threat/Data Analyst or Related Field
  • Proficiency in SQL for real-world data analysis.
  • Familiarity with Python and an understanding of machine learning concepts (a plus, but not required).

Communication & Collaboration

  • Ability to translate technical insights into clear, compelling stories for mixed audiences.
  • A track record of building strong professional relationships and collaborating effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and a genuine curiosity for learning.

Domain Knowledge (Nice to Have)

  • Familiarity with the banking or credit union space — whether through direct experience, consulting, or adjacent roles — is a strong plus.

Mindset

  • A proactive, self-driven approach with a professional and adaptable attitude.
  • Passion for solving problems and making a difference in the fight against fraud.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
