Xemelgo, a Bellevue-based company specializing in IoT, cloud and radio-frequency ID, or RFID, solutions, received a new investment from the venture capital arm of Zebra Technologies. Xemelgo serves businesses in the manufacturing and industrial spaces and has recently extended its offerings to retail customers.

Working to enhance visibility and control in factory operations, Xemelgo’s solutions leverage AI tech to help customers track inventory, work orders and assets. Its goal is to improve businesses’ efficiency, accuracy and visibility through automation. Xemelgo’s tech has been deployed in more than 100 factories for customers like Yamaha and SEKISUI Aerospace.

As part of the investment, Xemelgo is integrating its software into Zebra’s RFID readers, mobile computers and printers to serve their joint customers. The money will also allow Xemelgo to expand its platform into new verticals and enhance its AI capabilities in the midst of increased demand.
